In the summer of 1997, Julie Kemp, her husband, Andy, and their 8-year-old son, Landon, were driving dwelling from religion when an ambulance coming back to its terminal gate-crashed into their car at an intersection.

Andy died instantly, and the paramedics initially did not even realize there was a third fare because of the severe damage done to the driver’s side of private vehicles. Saviors noticed Landon’s little shoe peeking out, and that originated a more thorough search for his body. They have finally able to retrieve his torso, but to his mother’s repugnance, he was hobble and not breathing.
Landon was resurrected and hovered to Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina, but his fight for life was far from over. He died two more periods the working day, and doctors informed Julie that he are most likely not survive. Even if he did, he would have the brains of an 8-year-old baby and be unable to walk, talk or feed due to the severe brain damage incurred.
“I was so desperate that that was okay. I would take that simply to have him. He was all that I had, ” said Julie.
At Andy’s funeral, she had never felt so lonely, separated and vacated by God.
“I was very disappointed. Heartbroken, ” she said. “And while I’m sitting at the funeral, I’m fussing at God. I don’t understand why this happened. I don’t understand why he didn’t send angels to protect us, but in the very next breath I’m praying as difficult to him as I’ve ever prayed in my life for Landon to live.”
“He’s hooked up to all kinds of machines to maintain him alive, and there are no clues. There’s nothing good or bad, ” added Julie through rips. “They see nothing happening. I stopped praying that he would open his eyes.”
And two weeks later, Landon did exactly that. He woke up from his coma, and to the doctors’ consternation, he suffered no brain damage.
While Julie was overjoyed to have her son back, she was equally scared at the load of communicating the terrifying news to him that “his fathers” was dead. But when she asked if he knew where his daddy was, Landon was already aware. Julie was stunned at his response 😛
“He told me,’ Yes, I know where he’s at. I watched him in heaven.’”
Those words swayed her to her core .
Landon likewise remembered assuring his father’s friend who passed away the month before, as well as Julie’s two other children. Julie was FLOORED that Landon could have possibly known he had two siblings. According to her, she never told her son that she had two failures prior to seeing him, but she knew that’s exactly who he saw.
The third duration that Landon died, he says he came face-to-face with Jesus.
“Jesus came to me and told me that I have to go back to earth and be a good Christian and tell others about him, ” he said.
Landon is now fully grown, and he and his mother are expending their tragic narrative woven with miracles to spread the Good News of Jesus and the hope that he delivers in the midst of even the most difficult of circumstances.
“I know I’m doing it for Jesus. I know that he’s real, ” said Landon. “I is recognized that angels are there. I know that there’s a paradise. I’m not doing it for someone I don’t know or that I’ve never seen. I’ve read Jesus. I know he’s there. He’s asked me to do this and that is something that I’m doing.”
